All equipment on this rack is running a variant of 12.2T (FW/IDS/IPS/Crap). Since I'm studying
for the CCIE Security exam, this is what's being used. Other equipment non Cisco such as my
Netscreen, Sonicwall, Stonegates are equipment I also use for daily operations so I keep a
spare around for lab crash test dummy scenarios. All equipment listed here is for 1) lab
use 2) CCIE studies and or the equivalent. Nothing more, nothing less. Production wise, if
I listed the things I use on a daily basis, it would read like a Cisco, Foundry, Checkpoint,
Stonegate, Juniper, Extreme, Netrake, Sycamore Networks catalog. That's just on equipment.

Software, wouldn't know where to start. Pentesting, forensics, network analysis, IDS, IPS?
